NOTD: Essie 'Maximillian Strasse Her'

Still being sans DSLR, I thought I'd give you all a little nail update. Lame sounding, I know, but - revelation - I've had nail polish on for over 24 hours without chipping. For me, this is a bloody miracle.

This is the oddly named 'Maxillian Strasse Her' by Essie, which I recently bought from Fragrance Direct for the bargain price of £1.99. As I mentioned in my last post, me and nail varnish are not friends. I literally apply it before bedtime, leave the appropriate timings for drying, and then in the morning I wake up and seem to have dragged my nails against some brick in the middle of the night.

This however - has stayed on like a literal dream. I put my nails through quite a bit at work - constantly tapping on the till screen, catching my nails on hangers, the till drawer, I carry things a lot and knock my hands on things etc. Yet this has been amazing! I found myself purposely trying to batter them a bit just to see how much they would take. They are literally still perfect. Could not recommend this more and it makes me want to order a ton more Essie polishes in the hope they will all be as amazing as this.

Aside from all of that, the colour is genuinely quite lovely as well - it changes from a green, to grey, to an odd milky blue colour depending what light you are in. Applies nicely with a wide brush - nothing to complain about here!
