My cheap festival checklist!

This time next week I'll be in Leeds, for the very well known Leeds & Reading festival! I'm really excited as this is the first festival I've been to since 2010, and I haven't had a holiday this year so I'm using it as a little getaway! We all know what the conditions of festivals are like and I've been keeping an eye out for any little things I can take with me to make life generally a bit easier.

Festival checklist

I know most of you probably won't be taking these, but I am so I thought I'd include them! I have stretched ears and at the minute I have some really cute wooden plugs in that have a cut out heart in the middle. As lovely as these are, 'heavier' solid plugs are known to come out sometimes when you're being a bit lively haha - so I thought I'd get some cheap flexible silicone ones that will definitely stay in my ears and won't be uncomfortable. Plus they do look cool. :)

A slightly obvious one but included none the less: mini dry shampoo. The less I can take with me the better but this will heavily feature every day I'm in Leeds - going to have to get creative with hats etc so I don't look grim for the entire weekend! I'll probably take two of these just in case.

Must have for festivals - let's be honest, they are dirty places. You eat and drink random things, go to the gross toilets, sit on the floor, blah blah.. So it's always nice to feel a little bit cleaner by carrying this around. Travel size means you aren't taking any more than you need and will fit into your bag to go into the arena,

Makeup at a festival will always be difficult. Forever torn between wanting to look good and not being bothered enough to put a full face on, I've decided this year to embrace the red lip. A quick statement that I can put on and it looks like I've made an effort!

Apart from the shower cream, this actually looks like a great little pack to take to a festival. You get aforementioned shower cream, cleansing face wipes, deodorant, moisturising creme and a lip care cream. I would genuinely use almost all of those products! Nivea is a decent brand as well so it's amazing that these products have been put together as alone they would definitely add up. Sadly I've only seen this online and not in store so I can't see how truly 'mini' the kit is - either way it's worth a look!

There are a billion more things I'm planning on taking but these are the ones that I'm more impressed price wise with - you spend so much on festivals, the last thing I want to do is spend another £30 just on what to take! If you have any nifty beauty suggestions please leave them below!

  1. I've never been to any sort of festival but am aching to go to a music and comic one. They seem like such fun. All these would be great to have on hand.
